Mike Ladewskimladewski@boonevb.com In 2008 Mike Ladewski took over the reins as head varsity coach of the Boone Lady Braves. Mike has been coaching in the Orlando area for the past 10 years at both the club and High School level. Coach Ladewski started coaching at rival Edgewater High School in Orlando, and spent 4 years as an on campus coach at Bishop Moore Catholic High School. Mike grew up playing volleyball for Marjory Stoneman Douglas, a public school near Ft. Lauderdale. Mike attended the University of Central Florida where he received a degree in Computer Science.
Marlene Alvarez malvarez@boonevb.com This will be Coach Alvarez's first year with the Boone Braves as an assistant coach on the varsity team. Marlene brings a positive attitude and solid player experience to the Braves.
Jaime Tremainejtremaine@boonevb.com Jaime Tremaine grew up in California and played volleyball in high school but has now lived in Florida for the past ten years. She has been a coach for Boone High since 2005 and started out as a freshman coach. Since then Coach Tremaine has coached both the boys and girls at the JV level. Jaime is the 2009 Junior Varsity Coach.
Leida Riveralrivera@boonevb.com Leida was a varsity player at Boone High School for 2 years before she transfered to Bishop Moore HS for her final 2 years where she was twice named to the All County 2nd team in Orlando. Leida began coaching for St. James Cathedral School in 2006 before coaching at Bishop Moore in 2007. Most recently Leida was the head varsity coach of Wekiva High School. Coach Rivera is looking forward to bringing her defensive mindset and team spirit to the Freshman team at Boone High School.
